Director’s Biography

Felipe Segura Aguilera was born in Santiago de Chile in 1977. He is now 37 years old and married to Daniela Medel. He is also father to Vicente of fifteen and Martín a five month old baby. Felipe is an audiovisual communicator who earned his degree from the DUOC UC institute in 2002, specializing in editing. He has also studied screenwriting and script doctoring in Finis Terrae University (2012-2014). He has worked for several television networks in Chile, such as Canal 13, Televisión Nacional (TVN) and Chilevisión, fulfilling the roles of video editor, assistant director and producer for several national productions, ranging from news reports and entertainment shows to reality shows and fictional pieces for television. His first incursion in cinema takes place in 2012 with the editing of his first feature film, a thriller shot exclusively in cellphones entitled “09: The Movie”. Today he is an executive partner and creative director for IWANNA FILMS&TV, a production company dedicated mainly to video-marketing, editing services and post-production for television and advertisement. Furthermore as of late (2015), IWANNA FILMS&TV has formed a consulting division for screenplays with already two film projects that have been commissioned, for analysis of the proposal and the subsequent writing of the script. This year he also finds himself working on a horror short and writing a script for a television series.
